Welcome to Bishop Brothers Coatings. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bishop Brothers Coatings website and your interactions with our company. Website use
The content on this website, including text, logos and images, belongs to Bishop Brothers Coatings or is used with permission. You may view it for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, resell or misuse it. We try to keep the information accurate, but it is provided for general information and may change without notice. Our site may link to third-party sites such as Facebook, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Estimates and quotes
Quote requests submitted through this website are not contracts. Estimates are based on the information you provide and our inspection of the site. The final price may change if conditions differ from what was described or if you ask for added work. Unless your written estimate says otherwise, quotes are valid for a limited time.
Service agreement and payment
Work begins once you accept a written estimate or agreement. Deposits, payment schedules and accepted payment methods are set out in that document. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to the terms stated in your agreement.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the project and the property
- Clear vehicles, furniture and personal items from the work area before we arrive
- Give us safe access to the site, water and electricity as needed.
- Keep people and pets off treated areas until we tell you it is safe.
Concrete and site conditions
Coating results depend on the condition of the surface underneath. Hidden problems such as moisture in the slab, old sealers, oil contamination, or structural cracks may not be visible until preparation begins. We will tell you if we find conditions that affect the work or the price. Repaired cracks can sometimes remain visible or reappear, because concrete moves over time.
Appearance and samples
Colors, flake blends, metallic patterns and screen or paver finishes can look different from photos, screens and small samples because of lighting, batch variation and the nature of the product. Metallic epoxy is a hand-applied finish, so each floor is unique and patterns will not be identical to any example
Curing and care
New coatings need time to cure before they can be walked on, driven on or exposed to water. We will explain the timing for your system. Damage caused by using a surface too soon is not covered. Follow our care instructions to keep your surface looking its best.
Warranty
Any warranty on our work is stated in your written agreement. Unless it says otherwise, warranties do not cover normal wear, damage from impact or abuse, chemicals or tire marks beyond normal use, moisture or structural problems in the concrete, or work altered by others.
Scheduling and cancellations
Start dates and completion times are estimates. Weather, material availability and site conditions can cause delays, and we will keep you informed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible. Cancellation terms are set out in your written agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bishop Brothers Coatings is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for harm resulting from pre-existing conditions, customer instructions, or misuse of the finished work. Our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in the county where the work was performed, unless your written agreement says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version. Please also see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
